Our Rack and Pinions, Starters, Alternators, and Jackshafts are rebuilt using OEM components to provide durability and long life. All rack and pinions are hydraulically tested using a steering gear analyzer that simulates various road conditions. All products are rigorously tested prior to shipment to ensure quality, integrity and customer satisfaction. If for any reason you are unsatisfied - all products come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.*

Our products, service and vast experience has warranted SpeedLine Auto Part as the leading remanufacturing company in Chicago. We carry over 99% of Domestic and Import vehicles.

Core Return Policy
What Is a Core? A "core" is your old, worn, or failed part returned after purchasing a remanufactured replacement. The core deposit (if applicable) is refundable once we receive and inspect your core.
Core Return Window Cores must be returned within 30 days of the original purchase date.
Return Shipping — Customer Responsibility The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend a trackable shipping method — we are not responsible for cores lost or damaged in transit.
Core Return Requirements
- Returned within 30 days of purchase
- Shipped in original or equivalent protective packaging
- Same part number and application as the unit purchased
- Not disassembled, cut, welded, or altered beyond normal wear
- Fluids drained prior to shipping (where applicable)
How to Return Your Core
- Contact us to initiate the return and get the return address
- Package the core securely
- Ship with a trackable carrier
- Email your tracking number to us
Core Deposit Refund Processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method after inspection. Cores not meeting requirements may receive a partial or no refund.
**Please remember to drain the rack and pinion core of all fluid prior to shipping. Failure to do so may damage the box and prevent UPS from shipping the package.**
* Limited Lifetime Warranty: SpeedLine Auto guarantees the quality of the products for the lifetime of the original vehicle under normal use and service. SpeedLine Auto certifies that all products are free from defects in materials and workmanship. Should any of our products ever fail during normal use, SpeedLine Auto will replace the item free of charge. SpeedLine Auto will not be obligated to pay or reimburse the owner of the vehicle for the cost of removing and returning the failed unit or installing the replacement unit. Shipping costs is not covered under the Limited Lifetime Warranty and is the responsibility of the original purchaser to return the original item with a prepaid shipping label. The Limited Lifetime Warranty is a non-transferable agreement in which no other party may claim other than the original purchaser. SpeedLine Auto has the right to void any warranty in which a warranty is claimed from any party other than the original purchaser. Once a warranty is claimed and an item is deemed defective, the unit will be returned with the prepaid shipping label provided by the original purchaser.
Bent Shafts, Tie-Rods, and Housings are not covered under the warranty.
This warranty does not apply to units which have been altered, modified, misused, improperly installed or used in applications other than intended for.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: ***Limited Lifetime Warranty apply only to customers that have returned their old core (exact model and vehicle) back to SpeedLine Auto within 30 days of purchased date. For non-returned cores there will be a 30 day limited warranty beginning from the date of purchase. ***
