Rack & Pinion EVO Sensors
Rack & Pinion EVO Sensors
Steering feel loose or heavy at low speed? Stiff or wandering in parking lots? It's often the EVO sensor on your rack & pinion — not the whole rack. Replacing just the sensor can save you the cost of a complete rack assembly.
What is an EVO sensor?
The EVO (Electronic Variable Orifice) sensor controls how much power-steering assist you get at different speeds — more assist when parking, less at highway speed. When it fails, steering feels wrong at low speed even though the rack itself is fine.
